Welcome to my page. My name is Eugene and I am a technical and operational specialist in unified communications and collaboration technologies.

I have a successful track record of supporting enterprise ICT and Telecommunications services and am currently the team leader, collaboration engineer, and UC subject matter expert at the client I am based at.

About

I have a vast array of technical experience on multiple platforms, both hardware and cloud based.

I have managed Poly and Cisco solutions, as well as Zoom, and Microsoft S4B, and later Teams. I have also been actively involved with the commission of such systems and their integration with each other.

I also have knowledge on Microsoft 365 administration and the related services. I know cloud infrastructure and can navigate my way around Azure and AWS. I have a good understanding of cybersecurity as well and am an active ISC2 member.

My degree in applied psychology and my track record of successful service delivery gives me confidence in managing services and ensuring operational efficiencies and delivering on strategic objectives. I am competent in leading a team, mentoring colleagues to succeed and improve and being a trusted advisor to them.

On the side I dabble in web development, and am exploring the UX/UI landscape which interfaces my psychology studies with my technology background. I am an evergreen student and believe firmly in continuous learning on all fronts.
